“Women’s friendships are like a renewable source of power.”
~ Jane Fonda
"Never underestimate the power of your voice, your perspective, your uniqueness. That inexplicably divine cocktail of skills, perspectives, strengths and quirks is a one-time event in the Universe. There never has been, nor will there ever be, another you. So yes, you matter. And yes, the world really does need that special gift that only you have."
~ Marie Forleo
“Peace begins with each of us: with the way we look at others, listen to others, and talk about others.”
~ Pope Leo XIV
“To be truly radical is to make hope possible rather than despair convincing.”
~ Raymond Williams

Publication date (aspirational):
Wired Women is published weekly early on Sunday mornings. At least that’s my goal!
Dear Readers,
In this week’s American’s of Conscience message Jennifer Hoffmann writes, “.. when we’re afraid, tired, or disheartened, we must remember that it’s not the size or visibility of our actions that matters. The important thing is to keep choosing to show up, to contribute, and to join alongside others with similar values and goals. Being connected to other people and working together is how change happens.”
I am incredibly grateful to live in a community where people do show up in groups large and small to look out for the common good. As we celebrate Independence Day this year, may we all renew our connections to each other and strive to be our best selves in the face of all the lies ahead.
Thanks for reading. See you next week.
