Dear Wired Women,

This issue comes to you from my daughter and son-in-law’s home in Century City where Tom and I will be staying until it is safe to return to our home in our beloved Altadena. My intention was to either fill the newsletter with comforting quotations, or compile a list of helpful resources for those who have lost so much this week, and those who want to help. Or both. I realized a few minutes ago at 9 p.m. that today was Saturday and that I’d written nothing.

Perhaps next week. Or maybe not for awhile. I promise you though that Wired Women will be back.

In the meantime, I send you all much love and strength for the individual and collective journeys ahead. As Joyce Vance ends all her columns, “We’re in this together.”
